This shot of Simba the lion was captured in the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, East Africa. She was quite content to just lie there and watch us as I fired off way to many images. Excitement from my first trip to Africa got the better of me on numerous occasions, taking way more images than what was needed. It makes editing an ominous task! I was much more selective on my second trip.
I tried to convince my travelling companion to get out and remove the grass from in front of the lions face, but she wouldn’t… not sure why!!

It’s a wonderful shot, grass or no grass 🙂

Hey,
I really love this photo!
I am the social media for a site named HomeRun.com we are posting an offer next week for a photo safari in Tanzania for half off – not sure if you are interested in going on a tour, but if it would be something that would fit for your third trip, let me know 😉 Thanks!
