Lion Cubs, (Panthera leo) Serengeti National Park, Tanzania, East AfricaSpotting cats in the Serengeti was challenging on this particular trip. We had already driven hundred’s of kilometres in search of the big cats, but when we did find them, the experience was always incredible. This particular day we came across a sizable pride of Lions (Panthera leo) on top of a rocky outcrop or Kopje. These two cubs were unperturbed by our presence as I fired off some shots. We didn’t have long to photograph them as we had to be back at camp before dark. This image was taken in the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, East Africa with my Canon EOS 500D and 100-400mm zoom lens set at 400mm. The shot was exposed at 1/320 sec at f6.3 ISO 800
