I dream of Africa…
I love this shot so much! I remember this time well, spending many hours photographing and observing this Lioness and her cub as they hung out on this tree branch. (The cub is further down the branch out of view). Apart from a couple of quick fly by night tourists, I had them to myself, which is the best experience ever! A reason why I like to travel in the ‘off’ season. I look into this image, and it makes me long for Africa in a way I cannot describe!
