I felt it, first on my forehead, then my cheek. Starting with big drops that soon became a downpour. It rained hard. The water hit the dry ground, turning dust into mud and flinging it upwards. I ran, feeling the ground squelching under my feet. The smell of Earth was fresh on my nostrils. I embraced the coolness as darkness descended. I ran, and ran, and ran. There was a freshness in the air, a newness in the energy surrounding. And I loved it! The sun sets, and tomorrow, a new day is born. I ran some more.
