I had my back to him as he came tumbling through the undergrowth, a whole 200 plus kilos of him. Branches and twigs were snapping as he pushed through. I was crouching, photographing a female and another Silverback.
He stopped short of me, I could feel his energy bearing down at my back. I relaxed my body as I half expected him to push me over, but he never. Slowly, I got up, grinning from ear to ear. What an experience!!
Taking the Rangers hand, I carefully retreated to allow the Silverback more space. The undergrowth was thick, we couldn’t move far before coming hard up against bushes. Slowly, I turned to face him, showing no fear, but always respect. I looked down intermittently between photos. I took only seven, and at 70mm, it was tight. I hoped like crazy that they were sharp. When I looked up, he was looking into me, with a mixed look of fascination, curiosity, and a slightly smug ‘I told you so’. After watching us for what felt like minutes, he retreated back into the thick undergrowth that is the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, Uganda.
Experiences, not things!

Animal Whispers and healing with Aries, the cat. https://www.samclarkphotography.com/2020/08/20/animal-whispers-and-healing-with-aries-the-cat/ https://www.samclarkphotography.com/2020/08/20/animal-whispers-and-healing-with-aries-the-cat/#respond Thu, 20 Aug 2020 04:25:18 +0000 http://www.samclarkphotography.com/?p=4410 Continued]]> Meet Aries!
Aries is another rescue, his foster Mum coming to me for help, due to him being terrified of touch and very skittish.
Aries has shown me how previous people disrespected him. How he was treated indignantly and with indifference. His trust; broken.
I tell him that he can have Faith in his new home, that all touch will only ever be with kindness. That there are no demands of him, that he is accepted as he is.
Softly, softly.
Within 24 hours of Aries healing and communication session, he jumped onto his ‘Mums’ knee as seen in the second photo.
Animals have the incredible ability to trust again, if only we provide understanding, love, kindness, safety and patience.

Please be in touch if you would like to discuss how I could perhaps help your pet.

All healing sessions are done remotely, from the safety of our individual homes, anywhere in the world. The connection of Reiki energy is achieved using ancient Japanese symbols; communication is done through clairvoyance. I also incorporate intuitive healing into the session if needed. Generally, the healing’s last for 1.5 hours, with a half hour phone follow-up, however, I always give the individual animal what they need, so some sessions are known to go over this time.

Animals with medical ailments, of age or with deep trauma, can benefit from further sessions, although all animals show me how much they love Reiki.

There is only LOVE
Sami XO

This is Mary, lying on her owner’s knee. Perhaps, to most, this looks like a normal scene, but for Mary, this has been quite the journey. You see, Mary is a rescue, with quite a traumatic past. Through two healing sessions, and a lot of trust on her part, Mary has gone from being unable to trust basically anyone or anything, to the scene you see here. Learning to trust again and feel safe, have been the biggest hurdles for Mary, and through communications with her, along with Reiki and Intuitive Healing, and a lot of patience and tender loving care from her family, we have been able to work through some of her feelings from past experiences. I am so very proud of Mary, and how far she has come in such a short time. She is so incredibly brave. I am also very grateful to Mary’s family, for entrusting me with yet another of their ‘furry’ children. It has certainly brought a lot of love to my heart to see them heal and grow.

Please reach out if you have an animal in need, or would just like them to experience a beautiful healing, and the love that transforms from a deeper understanding.

Sam Clark has now worked with over 20 species of animals, both domestic and wild, including many rescued animals, with transformation in many being life-changing for both the animals and their owners/carers.

One of the last two Northern White Rhinos left in the world, Kenya.
International scientists have successfully created embryos with eggs extracted from these last remaining females, Fatu and Najin and frozen sperm from dead males. They will be embedded into a surrogate Mother to hopefully save these animals from extinction.

Covid-19 https://www.samclarkphotography.com/2020/03/29/covid-19/ https://www.samclarkphotography.com/2020/03/29/covid-19/#respond Sun, 29 Mar 2020 11:31:24 +0000 http://www.samclarkphotography.com/?p=4213 Continued]]> Hi there everyone!

I am reaching out to you all as concerns, anxiousness, fear and uncertainty are on the rise globally. If any of my friends are feeling vulnerable, please message me for a chat, or reach out to others that you know. You aren’t alone, we are all in this together. I have had a few people reaching out, and sometimes all it takes is a shoulder to lean on (virtually of course) Check in on others yourselves as well (from a safe distance), sometimes people just want to chat, and know that they are still a part of something,

I know it helps to have something in your day or week that you love and can look forward to. It could be a bush walk, walking the dog, drinking good coffee, spending time in the garden, reading a book, doing a puzzle. You get the idea. Doing something you love, even if you need to adapt it slightly due to the circumstances, keeps our mind and body healthy.

I’m still offering affordable Reiki Healing sessions around the globe for $25 for half an hour. My full sessions are usually $150. My aim is to reach as many people in need as possible in these trying times, but also to help support my small business. This is just for a Reiki session. If you would also like a clairvoyant reading, it will cost an additional $25 because of the extra time and energy involved.
Please note that this is available globally through distant healing techniques.

Know that we are all in this together, you are not alone, and we will come out the other side, hopefully kinder, more compassionate, more understanding, more grateful, and more aware of our precious Natural world and ALL of her inhabitants.

Love hard, shine bright, Sami XO

Miss Molly https://www.samclarkphotography.com/2020/02/13/miss-molly/ https://www.samclarkphotography.com/2020/02/13/miss-molly/#respond Thu, 13 Feb 2020 23:14:15 +0000 http://www.samclarkphotography.com/?p=4158 Continued]]> MOLLY
Meet beautiful Miss Molly, as she likes to be called.
Molly’s Mum asked me to do a healing and communication session on her last year with marked improvement in her general well-being after the session.

Recently, she was again showing signs of discomfort, anxiousness, clingy to Mum and just not herself, so Mum asked for another healing session for her.

As I do the distant Reiki healing with communication, I always go on the needs of the animal, what they are requiring or asking for. The distant Reiki is actually a combination of both Reiki and intuitive healing. Miss Molly had an extended two hour session as she really needed more healing on her joints that were causing her some grief. We also had a big chat together about her emotional well-being, pain levels, other health ailments, and the best ways for both her and her family moving forward.

Molly’s healing was a few weeks ago now and Mum has been keeping me up to date at my request of how Miss Molly is fairing.
I’m so happy to hear that Molly now no longer shows signs of pain when laying down or getting up, is much more relaxed and happier in herself. She loves all of the special needs attention she gets at home, including some supplements and time on the crystal mat, something she loves, as well as good old fashioned love from her family.

Giving Miss Molly and her loving family more quality time together makes me so very happy, and is why I do what I do. Animals are just incredible beings and are so very deserving of our love, attention and kindness. They don’t want for much more than this, and in turn have unequaled amounts of endless love to give in return.

Please reach out if you think your animal is in need of some healing or if you would like to understand their emotions and needs better; I’m here to help.

We work together to bring you and your beloved pet the clarity, healing, love and support that you all need.

Love and light, Sam xo

Tim was 50 years old.

Such a gentle soul, majestic and sometimes a bit of a trouble maker, often raiding farmers crops, which had him in trouble on numerous occasions.
He became an icon for Elephants, and known to many fans from around the world. He has fathered many from Amboseli so hopefully his gene pool will continue to flourish well into the future.

Such a privilege to have met you big boy, I know you will be missed by many, including the Rangers who guarded you around the clock, keeping you from harms way.

It is believed that Tim died from natural causes.

RIP Tim, Amboseli National Park, Kenya

Rhino Run! https://www.samclarkphotography.com/2020/02/03/rhino-run/ https://www.samclarkphotography.com/2020/02/03/rhino-run/#respond Mon, 03 Feb 2020 22:52:29 +0000 http://www.samclarkphotography.com/?p=4133 Continued]]> I felt it, first on my forehead, then my cheek. Starting with big drops that soon became a downpour. It rained hard. The water hit the dry ground, turning dust into mud and flinging it upwards. I ran, feeling the ground squelching under my feet. The smell of Earth was fresh on my nostrils. I embraced the coolness as darkness descended. I ran, and ran, and ran. There was a freshness in the air, a newness in the energy surrounding. And I loved it! The sun sets, and tomorrow, a new day is born. I ran some more.
