“No one who looks into the eyes of a Gorilla, gentle and vulnerable, can remain unchanged.” – George Schaller
My first Mountain Gorilla experience was in Rwanda, way back in 2009, on my very first trip to Africa. A childhood dream come true, one I was concerned would never happen as their numbers dwindled throughout my childhood.
Now ten years on, I have spent as many hours with the Mountain Gorillas, their numbers slowly but surely on the increase thanks to incredible efforts from various conservation initiatives. I couldn’t be more happy. In 2020, I plan to continue my research of the Gorillas for my upcoming book, along with a collection of fine images.
Two years on, the adventure will now continue! 🙂
